Japan 23 Mar - 5 Apr 2017 Day 13 - Endo Sushi / Dotonbori / Nomihoudai!

Last full day in Japan!! 3 things today: Endo Sushi, Dotonbori and ahmah!!

First things first, try the daiso burger and Lord Stow egg tart. Burger wasn't superb but was alright, tasted like how it looked like in picture below LOL. The egg tart was pretty good!

View from apartment

On the way out towards Osaka Fish Market for Endo Sushi, passed by some flowering plants (bushes?)

Osaka Central Fish Market is not really open to individual consumers, and can look quite intimidating. But just make your way to the restaurants at the side of the market, and you will see the queue for Endo sushi. I love the sushi here.

Menu still the same as when I came in 2016

MEGA HEARTS

I LOVE ENDO SUSHIIIIIIIIIIIIII

TBH, it's not the cheapest BUT personally, I think it's worth the trip to eat it! After we demolished all the sushi, we went back to Dotonbori for seconds!

Check out the tako.. omg..

This was yums, but I nearly died from eating it cos I was so full

In case you are wondering what's the point of this photo...

It's the name of this restaurant. Could this be the inspiration for the sushi chain in SG? LOL

Last stop for Dotonbori - Okonomiyaki at Chibo. By this time, the two of us were honestly packed to the brim with food. But... I just had to eat okonomiyaki.

I loved this. Chibo's okonomiyaki is one fo my favourites in the world. We couldn't really finish this, so we packed half of it to bring back to the apt.

That's us in the screen!!
We went back to the apartment to rest, pack and slack for a while before getting ready to meet ah mah for dinner and drinks! This is the lift in the apt, pretty old, and kind of dingy isn't it?

Meeting ahmah at Hankyu Umeda Dept store. She was actually right in front of us when I took the pic, but a hoard of people just rushed past and blocked her haha.

 Second attempt, but failed too.

AM had some places in mind, so we totally left it up to her. ahha the woes of the person who had been working in Japan for a while. In the end we decided on a place that had an alcohol buffet. The first flow looked pretty crowded, but they had a second floor.

Pretty quiet

And we got started!!

Personally, I loved the sashimi platter, it was beautiful.

And as the night progressed, we drank... and drank... and drank until....

LOL I remember leaving the restaurant in a state of happy buzziness. We enjoyed each other's company so much, and when AM suggested that we can take the train to her place and check out the flowering sakura in the area, we agreed with the alcohol influenced positivity that we would definitely be able to catch every single last train on the way back.

YK and I were super pink and somehow as I walked to the train station, I felt super high LOL We were laughing uncontrollably and making innocent commuters photobomb our pictures. See photo evidence of 3 high people walking around in the public transport until we finally managed to get into the train.

Arrived at Sakura destination

So at this time, the plan was to take a walk from here to another station, about 15-20min away and then take the train back to Umeda and then changing trains to get back to our apt.

The above mentioned cheery blossom lined pathway. It was actually very beautiful and I'm thankful i got to see it. On top of that, the experience of doing this in the middle of the night made it all the more memorable.

LOLOLOL, honestly still abit high n happy, although the fuzziness had already gone away at this time

Made it tot he train station in time, and this was our last pic together. Huuuugsggsgs to AM!

Made it back on every single train. PHEW

Strangely futuristic underpass

I still look back at this dinner with fondness and amusement. It was one of the best highlights of the trip. Thanks AM and YK for this super fun night and end to the 2017 Japan trip!!
