Today became a Johor outing lol. RJ, Ser and I went to Sutera Mall for KTV...
and dim sum at D'Shanghai! I like D'Shanghai alot because it's got pretty good quality dim sum at reasonable prices.
We ordered the rice wine xiao long baos (xlb), Shanghai dumplings in with some vinegar (something like hong you chao should without the spiciness: hycsws), sambal fried rice rolls, Fried Fen Pi and the usual dim sum. I ate almost 3 baskets of the rice wine xlb because I liked it so!

This Shanghai Fried Fen Pi is good. It looks abit suspicious because of the translucent looking 'Kway Teow', but I was pleasantly surprised by the Wok Hei-ness of this dish. It was tasty, but should be eaten up while warm because it turns slightly rubbery when cold.
Sambal Fried Rice Rolls with Egg. Not bad! Thumbs up to the chef doing the frying pls.
The porridge was rather thick and quite nice. Ser liked it alot.
I didn't take a picture but the prawn dumplings (har kow) were good, the skin was thin and prawns were fresh.
The service here was really good too, plus points!! ^^
