Happy Saturday Desserts with the Sunday Folks

After lunchie at Holland Village, Yk and I visited the Sunday Folks at Chip Bee Gardens for their handcrafted desserts.

It was pretty busy when we reached. Luckily for us, we managed to get seats for 2. After some dingdonging, we settled on the Passionfruit Pineapple tart with coconut cream and a waffle with roasted pistachio ice cream and almond thins.

Passionfruit Pineapple Tart w Coconut Cream
I liked this tart. The 3 flavours were distinct yet worked as a combination. Yk didn't like the coconut cream that much but I was amazed at how the cream added fragrance to the tart.

When the waffle arrived, Yk and I were like rubbing our hands with glee. Lol. Sooo Prettyy!! The roasted pistacho ice cream tasted real good. It was fragrant and delicately flavoured. A friend tried the earl grey and lavender and thought it wasn't much. Personally I tend to pass over flavours with lavender. I'm never sure what flavour I'm supposed to taste with lavender...

The waffle tasted pretty normal but I noticed it didn't turn too soggy with the ice-cream on top, then saw that a piece of chocolate cookie was placed below the ice cream. These folks really pay attention to detail!

I also liked the handmade toppings that were offered. Alot of them had interesting names and potentially exciting taste, like pistachio cranberry holiday biscotti, blue peppermint marshmallow and white chocolate yuzu mikado. We got the almond thins cos they looked so good and they were SUPERB.

The combination of almond, pistacho and waffle turned me into an almondpistachowaffle eating machine. Have... To.. Finish... It.. ALLL... Thencomebacknexttimetotryotherflavoursok.
