Samyang Extremely Spicy Stir-Fried Ramen

I just returned from HK and as usual, I bought interesting instant noodles that are not available or not often found in Singapore. One of the instant cup noodles I got was the Samyan Stir-Fried Ramen (Chicken Flavour) - Extremely Spicy. I had seen Yuka Kinoshita eat it with tears and pain. She also commented that the taste was pretty good and so when I saw it, I decided to buy it and give it a shot.

Today being a lazy Sunday, I thought some spicy ramen is what I needed to get things going!

The words in yellow mean 'Spicy Hot Spicy Hot' according to Google Translate. After the noodles were cooked, I drained the water out and poured the sesame seed, seaweed condiments and the whole packet of chilli sauce in. Check out the sides of the bowl. So Darn Red.

First slurp was like building a campfire in my mouth. The spice hits like 3 seconds after you swallow the noodles. BOOM!

Other than spiciness, the sauce was actually sweet and the ramen pretty tasty. I could taste the sesame seeds and seaweed. If the sauce was not sweet I'll probably love it alot. It's my belief that spicy savoury ramen should not be too sweet. It should be... Spicy... Ha. Ha. Ha. After I went through 3/4 of the ramen, my tongue hurt and my scalp perspired. The conclusion is, it is indeed spicy and there is no other instant ramen I have eaten that beats the spiciness of this one.

Samyang's Extremely Spicy Chicken Stir Fried Ramen wins!! I just bought a pack of the instant noodles, spicy Sundays are on the waaay.
