Tonkotsu Ikkyu @ Ramen Champion Changi Airport T3

On a lazy Sat afternoon... I was wondering what to eat for lunch.. I had a ramen feeling and so decided to pay a visit to Ramen Champion @ Changi Airport T3. When I walked out from the mrt station, I saw a mini landscaped area with a really interesting bench. Just got to sit on it and take pictures of it.

Ok I digress... Anyway I made my way to B2 towards Ramen Champion!!

I decided to try Tonkotsu Ikkyu's Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. According to google, this ramen is created by Chef Koji Tashiro who is also the producer of Ramen Champion. Ordered it and went back to my seat to stare at the buzzer:

Ramen arrived!!!!

I liked this bowl of ramen.  Even though the slice of chashu looked really sad and kind of droopy, I liked its texture and taste, very thin but with a good bite, almost like ham! Tonkotsu Ikkyu's Chasu is sous vide Chashu. Yummy!

The broth was milkish and pretty light. There was no excess oil floating around and I felt kind of healthy eating it though I'm not kidding anyone. I found the spicy broth addictive and finished it all, no jelat feeling!! The chilli is strong and good as well. Plus 50points pls. The noodles were slim and firm and egg was ok.

My set came with cold tofu with fried onions and some spicy sauce.

It was not too bad ^^. Fried onions just can't go wrong! Tonkotsu Ikkyu.. I like you!!
